Amador Montes first saw the light on June 16, 1975 in the City of Oaxaca, he studied graphic design. His history has been wrapped since childhood in an atmosphere of indigenous and mestizo art and beauty. At night he always listened to his father’s voice narrating legends that filled the imagination of a child and became the plastic creation of an adult.

From the first year of his university career he leaned towards painting as a primary means of expression. Later he participated in various drawing, textile design, ceramics and photography workshops, among others.
