VLADIMIR CORA

Painter and sculptor born in Acaponeta, Nayarit, Mexico in 1951. He studied Plastic Arts at the School of Painting and Sculpture in Tijuana and at the National School of Painting and Sculpture “La Esmeralda” of INBA.

His works include portraits, sculptures, paintings, and drawings. He received honorable mention, First Biennial of Painting Rufino Tamayo in Oaxaca, the Grand Prize of Confraternity of Four Cultures in the First Biennial of Ibero-American Painting of the Andean Institute of Popular Arts in Miami, Florida, United States; in 1989 the Prize of Plastic Arts of the Government of the State of Nayarit. It has 150 individual exhibitions and as many collective exhibitions.
