Born in 1972 in the city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. He studied industrial design at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Jalisco.

His work is surrounded by feelings, there is a desire to rediscover something totally new in the essence of themes as old as love itself, from pencil strokes to brushstrokes that spell out colors throughout his proposal. Yuri Zatarain shows another step in his art, venturing into sculpture, painting and feelings of nostalgia to tell stories, which at a certain moment, we all want to live again.
